About Me
Hi love — I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Jennifer de Chickera. A global DEI leader. An artist. A mother. A cancer survivor. A deeply feeling, wildly intuitive woman learning how to live more gently — with truth, presence, creativity, and soul.
For most of my life, I worked hard to belong. In rooms that didn’t reflect me. In systems that demanded I perform. In roles that asked me to prove, please, and perfect.
That changed when I was diagnosed with cancer. Twice.
The second time, I was told it was incurable.
But I healed. Not just physically — I healed from within.
Cancer cracked me open. It was the beginning of a deeper awakening — one that led me into trauma healing, energy work, feminine-masculine integration, and creative expression. It showed me the power of slowing down, of listening, of letting go. It taught me that resilience isn’t about pushing through — it’s about letting yourself be real.
Now, I lead global inclusion work by day, raise a neurodivergent daughter with love and presence, and write from the spaces between it all — the quiet, the messy, the sacred. I’m learning how to do it all without burning out. How to be led by spirit and still show up in this world. How to rise gently.
What The Space Is
The Gentle Path is a sanctuary for anyone walking through transformation — healing from trauma, awakening spiritually, navigating leadership or motherhood, unmasking from old identities, or simply learning how to live more softly in a world that moves too fast.
This is not a blog about illness.
It’s a blog about becoming whole.
It’s about doing life differently — with presence, with soul, and with less self-abandonment.

Why I’m Here
Because we’re not meant to do this alone.
Because individualism is exhausting our spirits.
Because connection — to ourselves, to each other, to something deeper — is the medicine.
Because I want to build a space where we can show up fully, imperfectly, and honestly.
This is my offering.
This is my path.
If it resonates, I’d be honoured to walk beside you.
With love,
Jen
